VIDEO: My Everyday Makeup Look

Thursday, April 28, 2016

After two years of figuring things out, I have *finally* relaunched my youtube channel (anybody else remember my Barbie tutorial - sadly in very low quality?! u__u) - and my first video detailing my Everyday Makeup Look is live!

Not going to lie, some editing issues aside, I'm pretty proud of this video! Already working on more videos (in addition to some outfit posts), so stay tuned for that! <3

Oh, and pretty please with cream and sugar "Like" the video and subscribe to my channel if you can ;A;

BIKINI TOP & SKIRT: c/o Margarita Mermaid NECKLACE: c/o I Love Crafty

Attention my fellow Ariel wannabes: Margarita Mermaid has done it again with her newest mermaid inspired collection! Seashells, sequins, pastels - everything my dreams are made of! This sparkly bikini top in particular is an absolute DREAM - just look at those sleeves! I of course, had to pair this with my aqua shell necklace by the lovely I Love Crafty <3

The highlight of my week was my pink seamless paper backdrop arriving hehe! Decided to test it out by painting daisies freckles on my face and showing off this darling daisy necklace by Vinca!

DRESS: c/o Ukulele Fashion HEADBAND: F21 SHOES: F21

My new favorite clothing brand, Ukulele, offers some of the dreamiest frocks I've ever seen. I saw my friend Annika's blog post featuring them - and I've been head over heels ever since! This high neck, frothy dress is a great example of the pretty dresses they are known for - pastel, floaty, and just plain gorgeous!

This dress definitely reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Picnic at Hanging Rock. The beautiful sheer details and high neck reminds me of the 70s does Victorian dresses the film showcases.

DRESS: c/o Missguided SHOES: Forever 21 BRACELET: c/o Pop Tones PURSE: Modcloth

Having the ability to find inspiration wherever you go is something that really comes in handy - you never know when inspiration will hit, and that’s what makes it so fun! Sometimes it’s the little things - seeing your cat walk towards you, how light filters into the room - and the other day it was choosing a beverage.

At Jack in the Box, I was selecting a beverage with the Coke Freestyle Machine when inspiration hit! Seeing all the colorful logos for the different drinks available from the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine inspired me to put together an outfit based on my personal favorite drink, Caffeine Free Diet Coke Cherry Vanilla.

Drinking Caffeine Free Diet Coke Cherry Vanilla not only brings to mind delicious vanilla ice cream, and juicy cherries - it also quenches your thirst while keeping things on the light side. The vanilla and cherry combination reminds me of pretty pink and cream shades, and I put together this outfit based on the cute color scheme!

I really appreciate Coca-Cola Freestyle’s low/no calorie options, and was even mixing some of the beverage options together (Sprite Zero Fruit Punch and Sprite Zero Grape tastes really good together - who knew?)! I’m trying to stay on the low/no cal side of things, and having such tasty options definitely makes it a less intimidating task. You can try it out yourself using the Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine Location Finder here!

What was the last thing that inspired you?

DRESS: c/o Samantha Pleet BERET: Amazon

This dress, inspired by Alice in Wonderland and covered in darling embroidered motifs from the tale, is a new favorite piece in my wardrobe! Made with a heavy fabric and in the cutest bell shape, I'm positively smitten. I immediately thought of the lush garden Alice visits - only to look outside and see naked trees, an ugly grey sky and no flowers to speak of! So I brought the garden to my house with colorful fake flowers <3 Who else can't wait for Spring?!
